We have had a freeze the last two days so I’m sure these have gone by.
Taken three days ago in the garden trails of Middleton Plantation.

Paths by the Ashley River are tunnels of vines, the Camelia blossoms are the first to open inside.

You could actually smell their perfume before sighting them.
Almost spring.

Lovely flowers! What did the flowers smell like?
Almost a rose, a bit ‘softer’. Perhaps I was able to smell them so clearly was the fact they were inside a vine covered trail, growing up the sides and even over the canopy.
There is an article from a few days ago named ‘Freaky Babies’ 😂, it’s a statue, but if you view it you can see down a covered trail with the flowers blooming overhead (in black and white). The statue is at the end of trail.
Your lead photo is lovely!
Thank you. The deep green leaves on the plant made for a nice contrast. Being under the canopy of vines may have been the reason those leaves are so darn clean looking 😀
