Taken the other day when none of the locals seemed to be happy with their place in the marsh.

Egrets, and Herons, moved back and forth the length of the rice fields.

As long as the birds didn’t move off to the far side I had a chance of getting shots like these. Heading back over the reeds is a mile from any trails, or solid ground.

Love to catch the Egrets in flight. In another month they start to breed. Should be chaos again with plenty of in flight photo ops.
