Not far from the chaos of the swamps and large wading birds these peaceful Teals enjoyed the duck weed, which was everywhere.

The area is thick with cattails, fern, and duck weed.

They will not go hungry around here.

In the past there were also Alligators. Recently none seem to be around. It’s an easy swim/walk to the rookery where I see plenty. The fish must be an easy catch over there.
