Blue-winged Teals have settled into this swamp area. Their constant preening has left small white down feathers floating all around, A sure sign they like the spot.
No sign of any Alligators either. Even the old wooden ramps are owned by the birds.
There is plenty of Duck Weed to eat and they can hide in the base of the old Cypress Trees.
Should be a trail of ‘little guys’ out here soon.
Very nice, they are beautiful ducks. I’m glad they can find places to hide if they need too.
Thanks. I am always surprised at how some animals don’t take more care out there. Hiding is good 😃
