This spot is not a particularly good place to shoot. Besides the normal light issues trees and brush are pretty thick.
Every angle will have some type of branch of tree trunk in the shot. Half the time is spent focusing through ‘open holes’ in the view finder.
Of course the smaller wading birds like it back here. Ibis wander around in small groups ducking behind anything they find to avoid being seen.
Above the outline of a Little Blue Heron can be seen in the background.
While the chances of a ‘stunner’ type shot are slim you can find some interesting critters on a slow day.
