Both series here were taken same day, same place, but different angles and time. Though I was only there for a few hours.
The Great Egret above was shot as he flew past an island in this swamp rookery.
In the background you can see the Cypress Tees and some Egret nests. This bird was climbing higher to reach another set of Cypress further down the water.
The next series I was down lower, and shooting lower, since the birds were not climbing for height. Their nests were in the thick Palmettoes.
Same general area yet they look completely different.
