These images were taken with my ‘lazy’ lens, Tamron 18-400 mm. I try not to swap out a lens while here, it can go very bad. I lose some reach and light but it’s lighter and really flexible.
Getting photographs in this spot can almost feel like cheating.
I’m walking on a trail, a smaller dike with a trench on the side. Not a very big trench, but Alligators climb out and rest on the other side.
Street photography gator style really. I walk along and they go about their everyday business 30-40 feet away.
And the cane can be as crowded as midtown streets.
No exciting ‘Crocodile Dundee’ stuff, but fun all the same.
