Nothing odd about Wood Storks and Spoonbills hanging together. But the new comer’s took over the photograph.

Just in this spot alone over 15 Black-bellied Whistling Ducks. The changing weather has them breeding here much more than I thought.

  1. It is really cool, Ted, to see the pink of the Roseate Spoonbills and of the Whistling Ducks in a single shot. What a wonderful combination, albeit a bit odd.

    1. It is always hard to tell if things are changing because of climate change, weather patterns, etc. or if this is just a one-off occurrence. You will just have to wait and see if it happens again next year.
