Nothing odd about Wood Storks and Spoonbills hanging together. But the new comer’s took over the photograph.

Just in this spot alone over 15 Black-bellied Whistling Ducks. The changing weather has them breeding here much more than I thought.
ACE Basin, South Carolina.
It is really cool, Ted, to see the pink of the Roseate Spoonbills and of the Whistling Ducks in a single shot. What a wonderful combination, albeit a bit odd.
Thanks. I have never seen, no less photograph, that many Whistling Ducks
It is always hard to tell if things are changing because of climate change, weather patterns, etc. or if this is just a one-off occurrence. You will just have to wait and see if it happens again next year.
Audience and performers… What an amazing scene you were able to capture, Ted!
With luck many more to come. The next few months have usually been times of large flocks feeding. Migration helps, but most are year round like these.
