I think we were all trying to keep out of the bright, hot, sun.
Most of the Wood Storks here were right out in the center of the marsh, not these though. They were working the edge where a little shade could be found.
Unfortunately we had to be out in the sunny marsh too if we wanted any kind of shots at all.
They are beautiful birds! I wish we would have them and I could see them often.
One of my favorite. They act calm and in command most of the time.
