This is one of the young Little Blues from the rookery this year. He still hasn’t left the immediate area.

Much of the open water here is gone now, completely over grown with thick vegetation. Typically it would be duck weed but not this year.

Eventually he will move off to the nearby marsh or rivers for the winter.
