Hoping I Wouldn’t Notice, Roseate Spoonbill

Off to the side, watching, not making a sound.

But I knew they were there.

However, while it might seem hard to not notice them two photographers earlier had passed by and didn’t know until I spoke with them up the trail.

They turned and went back, and did find one or two.

    1. I think I told you some time back that spoonbills were visiting Bombay Hook NWR near Dover, DE. They became celebrities, stayed all summer! As of yesterday, one is still there. 🙂

    2. 😃😃, Yes and Mike Powell and I have discussed it too. They are spreading out. It’s warmer and I’m not convinced they may have been blown with a storm. Their survival has been because by nature they explore more than many other birds. They should know when it’s time to move south.
