This juvenile was hanging over the trunk waiting for the water level to change.

He moved around, but in the same tree. He didn’t even pretend to be hiding from me.

Thanks 😃. They look to be OK with us around them, even this close, since there is a small deep canal between us. This area is completely closed every year for 2 winter months. Behavior will be totally different after that.
