Most days in this part of the marshes an old dead tree is occupied. Sometimes a single bird, other times several, and even different species tolerating each other.
The trees time is nearing the end but over the years we have had some incredible photographs from here.
This series is a few of the most recent, and with luck we will have some time yet for others.
Below a Great Blue starts an exit pushing past Spoonbills and Egrets.


The forward lean and bent knees are the signal to start shooting… don’t let up until he is airborne.
