I have been thinking about how to describe a huge bird, like this stork, moving through the air. All I ever come up with is ‘they glide’.
Which is true with the huge wings they have.
However, they also ‘float’ and let they wind do the work.
Of course now I have a new description to ‘over use’.

Over time I have come to appreciate these gentle giants. At this point I may ignore all the others nearby, even Spoonbills, to get good photographs of them.
