Bald Eagle In Fall Colored Leaves

Bald Eagle In Fall Colored Leaves

This year we have been treated with some of the best fall colors, in a place that really doesn’t have many trees that turn.

Here it was a double treat.

A Bald Eagle dropped out of some pines and flew right through the beautiful colors.

The Eagles are starting to nest which is why we have been seeing them so easily. They will return to last years location but they do need to make repairs.

    1. My first trip up the creeks and delta rivers. The only animals to photograph turned out to be Eagles. Everything else is in the reeds. The Eagles, they fly along side the river banks. It didn’t hurt that it’s nesting time πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ.

    1. Thank you πŸ™πŸ™. From a morning filled with Eagles πŸ˜ƒ. This one hop scotched (is that a word?) along the tree line in front of us as we moved down a creek. I’m pretty sure I have more of him, or his mate, from the encounter. That never happens πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    2. Yes, that is a word πŸ™‚ What great encounters you have there! It is always a delight to see what you and Ellen see and experience over there.

    3. I can photograph more wildlife and nature in an hour here than I could in…who knows up New England. The ACE Basin is describe as ‘one of the last great places in America’ by just about every naturalist org… you can see why.
