I noticed recently there are some Wood Storks that keep off to themselves. They travel in flocks yet at least one wanders off on their own.

While watching this one I found he was not really alone. He had a shadow drifting along. The head is clear in the shot above.

I can be 100% positive the Stork knew he was there. He also knew the only thing that could happen is the Alligator might consider stealing a fish.
Alligators leave Wood Storks alone. Look at that beak.
