We only have two types of Pelicans in North America.
Salt water birds are the Brown Pelican, the smaller of the two. However, a big Brown Pelican can be up to 5 feet long (1.5 meters) with a 7.5 foot (2.3 meter) wing span.
White Pelicans live around fresh water. The are the second largest bird in North America, Condors a little larger. In length they can be 6 feet (1.8 meters) with a 10 foot (3 meter) wing span.
Pretty big birds !!!

These two images were in the To Do file, so this is where they ended up. Didn’t want them to get lost.
