It’s officially winter, and cooler, so less ocean wildlife photography.
They are still there, I’m just not a fan of the cold. At least in the swamps trees break up the wind.
The shore Pelicans have not received much web site space lately.
A small series of in flight shots to give them equal billing.
Brown Pelican, Charleston Harbor.
Equal billing, I like that. Being they have such large bills. I put some photos of the brown pelicans on today also. I have not looked it up yet, but I have noticed some have white necks and the ones I put on today are more brown colored neck feathers.
Could be adults and young birds have coloring differences. Male or female too. Brown Pelicans can be confusing to me.
