A few young Spoonbill were out wandering the marsh and learning a few life lessons. I call them goofy, because they are.

This also means growing up out here may take a little longer than some other critters.

Watching them was great fun, and horrifying. They just do dumb things.

Note; all seemed to make it through the day just fine.
A few days ago I finally was able to photograph a few Great Egrets but a background was so messy. On all your photos the background is so nice and the Roseate spoonbills stand out so beautifully. Great moments and photos!
We get shots with all kinds of mud and muck too. Those Spoonbills were on a small island in a marsh… muck too. Just looks a little better.
