A few random shots here of a Great Egret working the waters surface for prey.
I’ve watched this before and I think they will do this if the surface is thick with weed or algae.
The bird will fly back and forth over an area. If they spot something a quick grab may get a fish.
Finding some clear water might be easier, but what do I know.
