When you find this first light it’s usually a sign the day will be pretty good.

These were the first shots and light was not really up yet.
However, basic rule is take the shot. You might not get another.

This is why I have been using a monopod more often. Wide, slow shots with no room for any movement.
Love that beautiful morning light, Ted! You’re the second blogger of those I’ve just read who mentioned using a monopod. Maybe I should just off mine and use it once in a while.
Takes practice, in flight really suffers since I don’t use it constantly. I do like it for distance shots with slow speeds though.
