Wetlands Sandhill Cranes.

Cranes nest here, Viera Wetlands, every year. The various marshes are separated by large berms. They will nest in the tall reeds and forage along the berms.

If you keep a respectable distance, walk around any feeding, all is good. You can’t find a better place to watch Cranes.

This is a tall bird, standing a little over 5 feet (1.5 meters). A wingspan is about 8 feet (2.5 meters).
