This rookery didn’t seem to have many nest sites from last year. All of this years will need to started from nothing.

I love breeding time, when birds like this Great Egret have extra bits of color.
Even Wood Storks get a little bump 😃😃. At a Spoonbill rookery today, hope to get them in the almost orange stage. Probably no eggs yet but lots of chasing should be happening.

Very much so. We were at a rookery most of the day and the Egrets there have gone from 10/12 a few weeks ago to probably 100+ today. Wood Storks have shown up too. So many they are fighting for space.
So yeah, pretty busy. 🤗
