This is one impressive bird !

Towards the end of my walk around the Viera Wetlands I was ‘going a little slow’. I covered every trail around and between the marshes. So dragging might be a better description of the pace I was walking.

The Sandhill Crane here found absolutely nothing about me threatening. He watched from the edge of the marsh, maybe 3 meters away and was very confident he had nothing to fear. Look, he’s even standing on one leg.
