Lately we have been spending more time than usual out in a marsh or the shore. Especially this time of year.
We have been to a local rookery though and captured some of the nesting action.


The Great Blues are in the last stage of nest building, some females on eggs. I have seen fuzzy heads in a few places.


Here a male brings a treasure back to a nest. It’s even a good size, which is not always the case.
