A Roseate Spoonbill in love here. Standing tall and bowing to the object of his affection.

She looked to have a change of heart as he moved closer to ‘have a chat’ with her.

I guess he moved too fast for the lady.

She left for another tree, maybe better prospects.

In true Spoonbill fashion he was a little confused, but a few minutes later he was following her again through the trees.
Love is a mystery to all creatures, it seems. 🙂 Cool sequence of shots, Ted.
Words of wisdom sir 😊😊. They are not as demonstrative as Great Egrets, but flashing pink and orange makes up for it LOL. Thanks.
We humans are not exactly the pinnacle of understanding when it comes to love. We are the ones who are wont to pluck petals from a flower and seek to determine if she loves us or loves us not. 🙂
Beautiful pics Ted! Have shared a link on twitter. Surprised at how pink his legs are 😀
Breeding colors can be vivid. Underneath they are even orange LOL. Thanks.
