Cormorants, like many diving birds, like plenty of room to take off in flight. They swim, dive, and fly very well. However, their back legs and body are ‘not quite right’.
Below is a case in point.


A Cormorant was balanced on an old Palm log. Then, another began the awkward ‘running on water’ to fly off.

He didn’t need to be this close.


Crash averted. I don’t think the bird had full control when running by.
He can be excused since it’s not easy to run on water.

Seems like it’s time for some service issues 😒. I have a few myself. My site is huge so I thought that might be the issue, but others are having some too.
