Wildlife photography can be a series of trade offs. You have no control over the environment, that’s where the ‘wild’ comes in.
First consideration is do you take the shot at all.


That’s usually an easy one. I didn’t come here to work at this, then not take advantage of any opportunities.


These shots were in one of the low marshes, muck and mud everywhere.

With a big beautiful pink bird we tend to overlook a bit of mud 😊. Very nice!

Once I stressed over things like that. If something makes a bad photograph then I just delete. I shoot nature, and the stories around it not ads for food or clothing 😂😂.
