When I capture a series of a Great Blue in flight, more than a single photo, it’s in a swamp. I think they just tend to fly closer because it’s a tight environment.
This bird casually passed us out in the open waters of a large marsh.
No planning here on our part, no time. It was raise the camera and shoot.
Sometimes you get them, others you don’t. Of course the don’t never get published.
