I never fail to be astonished by the brilliant pink of “your” Roseate Spoonbills, Ted. The light shining through the spread wings really makes them glow.
At the peak of breeding colors in this one. At times I am tempted to push the color back in LR since it’s almost unreal LOL. End of June they will be ‘muted’… for adult Spoonbills.

I know what you mean about color saturation seeming unreal sometimes. I don’t have any pink birds to worry about, but had the same thought when I got some shots of the brilliant blue of an Indigo Bunting.

Yep, that’s another one. Also the Eastern Bluebird here. I don’t know the difference in their diet here, but some are so blue they could be Buntings or Grosbeaks.

Oh yeah ππ. Our resident flocks are getting larger each year. The Lowcountry is now getting a few Reddish Egrets π too.
