Tiny Critters Have Arrived

When my back porch reaches a temperature of 100 there is little motivation to go swamp walking.

However, thankfully 5 steps out the back door has plenty of southern wildlife to photograph.

Above is a very young Anole that showed up the other day. Still small enough to fit on a flower petal.

Small but mighty. He was camera shy and jumped a few feet to another flower where he promptly disappeared.

    1. He had jumped from the first plant to the one in the second shot. I knew he would but they are way too fast. Right now the small ones are running rampant across my back plants and into the screened in porch. Cheap entertainment when it’s 100 out.
