When we are out walking along dikes in the big marshes most everything I photograph is overhead or in the marshlands themselves.
I’m sure I miss out on many things just a few feet away. The dikes have their own eco system of grasses and reeds. These images were taken just off our path, on the dikes edge.
I assume these were some type of Thistle.
