If you view this web site you know I photograph these Pelicans often. There was a time they were like an exotic creature only seen on a rare vacation or other trip. Now that I live in the Lowcountry that really hasn’t changed much.

The following series is one of the things I love about these big birds. They casually glide and float with little effort. When they pass by, like below, glancing over at you, it’s very special.
