Those are supper hard to get, especially if they are not crossing 90 degrees to you. Always amazes me how thin their bills are.
No other bird like them 😁😁. This is a big breeding area, this year better than most. We get lots of practice 😁

Thanks William. I hesitate to tell you but… not much after you were here hundreds showed up exactly where you were. They stayed around for a few weeks, then back to the salt marshes along the beaches. I would never have known if I didn’t bail on a trip up the Congaree and delta, went to Bear instead.
