When the tide is low the coastal oyster beds are a good fishing spot for the local wading birds. Our timing was good as we stood around watching the birds work the shallows.


I think this was shot right after I unpacked and setup the gear. I had the full pack since we shooting on the shore, everything is in pieces so I was lucky to be ready.


This Egret didn’t stand here long after the catch. Gulls and other Egrets had taken notice meaning an attempted steal was about to happen.

He got off with the prize.
