I passed within a few feet of him, never noticed. Which was not good since this was a real young one. A few months maybe? Hard to tell at this age.
He had crawled out of the bushes next to the Cypress Swamp, but in a spot with lots of foot traffic. Ellen spotted him, I could have stepped on him.
I didn’t think he was all that good on his feet yet, spends most of his time in the water.
He had focused on something that looked good to eat…if you’re an Alligator.
He grabbed it, gave a good shake, and then wobbled off back into the bushes.
Once again, you never know what you might find out there.
