A few more photos from our paddle around the Cypress Swamp.

As you can imagine the shutter was getting a work out. However there were a number of images that were at an odd angle since you can’t just twist and turn all around. Focus was an issue also. A big problem, which I was aware of is how to compose a shot that made sense. Swamps are difficult because there is something going on in every part of the photo. The ultimate clutter.

As you can see the waters surface was clear in some spots, covered with lily and duck weed in others. It was good and bad. Good because if the water was clear that was most likely the trail to follow (there were arrow around nailed to trees too).  The bad was it got caught on the paddles, and everything else.

There was wildlife but surprising little.
