This is also another ‘Found On A Walk’ type article. Here a case of one old find leads to another.
We stopped after crossing a railroad track that had old buildings lined along what might have been a RR stop years ago. I grabbed shots with no real plan. Looking a little deeper this small random stop had a few hidden interests.
The first photograph turned out to be an old Troy SC jail. Besides the fence to keep people away there were other warnings, even the names of people who were caught here. Who does that !

Below was the scene that lead us to just stop after driving down this road.

What we also had was an old corn mill, with a tractor on blocks. This was probably used to power the corn grinder inside the building.

These photographs were taken as we drove along exploring back roads on the South Carolina side of the Savannah River.
