The format of the photograph doesn’t fit the page header very well if viewed in a browser. I do like the shot so I included it anyway.
Taken on a road in the ACE Basin just outside Bear Island. keep driving a few more miles and you hit the salt marshes on the Atlantic.
The WordPress reader seems to prefer landscape mode photos, so the thumbnails don’t pop as much for shots, like this one, in portrait mode. I like the composition and color of the image a lot.
Thanks. Reader is getting worse lately. I can never use a gallery anymore. Either it does not scroll forward, or scrolls through the entire media file regardless of the post. Ellen is building a WP site on another host for someone. It will not have reader, that’s a WP.com product, but the web sites look to work and be much better. It’s a thought.
