Out in the open water of this old rice field there are several rotten pilings. A Tricolored Heron had decided to claim it the other day.
What I didn’t notice at the time was the much smaller snag was also taken. A large dragon fly sat up high and dry too.
Another one of those shots with a nice surprise included.
