When you are in the fall marsh by yourself, and the Storks are flying, you can hear and feel those big wings.
This is the best time of year for photographing Wood Storks.


When this bird came in there were times you could see the green tint on his wing feathers.


Once this was rare to see, they are Central and South American birds. Now, they are here year round, maybe a months trip a few hundred miles south but that’s it.
