A Great Blue Heron found working his way through a large flock of Egrets. Usually the heron would have kept away from this many Great Egrets but he hunted along the waters edge pushing through the crowd.

I never ever tire of seeing this great bird. Magnificent.

Helps being just a bit bigger than the residents when you opt to invade their space ha. Something about Herons … always seem to exude confidence.
Even the babies. We have a rookery down the road and I’ve seen baby Great Blues fight off adult Great Egrets.
