This juvenile is one of several different species that have taken up residence in the same marsh / Ashley River area. The quiet spot has become home even to some Spoonbills and Wood Storks.

Young Ibis here didn’t have any particular favorite types of other birds to join up with. I guess they simply like company.
Below is another member of their loose knit club. A Tricolored Heron fished along side the Ibis.
