A Great Blue Heron in the early marsh light. A cool and crystal clear dawn.

We have spent the last few days out catching up on photographs and mental health. Freezing temperatures are not normal in the Lowcountry, even transplants like us avoid the outdoors.
Each day was a little warmer, today the first morning above freezing. Of course we went to the far marshes first thing. We both inhaled the clear marsh smells, caught the other, and laughed out loud ππ.
This photograph is indicative of how the morning went.

Sounds and looks like a great day!
It was. We found hundreds of birds. Not a single Alligator though. They must need another day to thaw out ππ€£
