Yesterday was a big day for this guy (on the left).

The male has been saving last years nest for a while now. I went to check and I found her doing an inspection. A female can visit several males in a rookery before settling on a mate and nest.

He gave her a stick and she accepted it so he may be in luck. A few more males are here now so he best keep her happy. She has her choice of the whole rookery right now.
