Another of those photographs that had more going on than I first thought.
It was loud with Spoonbills and many other birds calling out. Vultures were everywhere and it was the first time I had heard then make anything other than a hiss sound. Basically crazy loud.

Roseate Spoonbill were calling all around the Palms. What I didn’t see was the second Spoonbill calling from the background.
Spoonbills make loud, abrupt, coughing sounds. Nothing musical so you can see why it was loud here.
I love this photo, Ted, and the way the spoonbill in the back is out of focus.
There were many at the time. I hope to have a few with multiple ‘spoonie clown tricks’ in the batch. Thanks.
