Behind all this is the St. Augustine Alligator Farm. Yep. It’s actually a Florida tourist zoo.

The wild birds in the marshes found water, food, protection, and people can’t bother them. The back marsh and swamp are private land safe for nesting birds.

An odd win for nature.
