One day not long ago it seemed like White Ibis were popping up where ever I went. They live in my local swamps, but stick together in small flocks.

This day it was one or two in places not a usual haunt. While no great action I grabbed single shots when I spotted them.

Turned out I had seen, and photographed, enough to have choices for a small article.

For the most part they sat around dead snags and Spanish Moss. That was nice too. Better than the usual mud and muck they thrive in.

White Ibis, Charleston.
Very nice, Ted. I particularly like the 1st and 3rd shots!
Thanks. Spanish Moss looks a little brittle this time of year, but it still makes a great shot.
