This is a sight that greeted me (Ellen had gone a different location) as I turned the trail turned a corner.

The swamp was in first light, a small bit of fog, and all the vegetation covered in the morning damp. Egrets and Great Blue Herons were lined up facing the swamp center.

This is a pretty big swamp, but all the locals were facing the same way. Maybe the sun was too bright for them too, who knows.

Above you can find an Anhinga back left, and a Blue-winged Teal on the lower left. Egrets and Heron standing in that special spot.
All looking in the same direction! What a great little community. π
Around here when everybody is looking in one direction itβs prudent to find out why ππ
Waiting for⦠Remarkable sight to come across.
It was, but I need more restraint when I see this. Memory cards are enablers.
